Caspers Famous Hot Dogs has dedicated four generations to providing fresh, made to order classic hot dogs to our customers in a clean restaurant environment. We continue to honor this proud family tradition by offering consistently high quality, affordable and savory food that appeals to people of all ages.

The family that owns Caspers Famous Hot Dogs has been serving hot dogs in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1934. The original Caspers chain was established by Stephen & Ardam Beklian and Paul & Rose Agajan more than 60 years ago and the business continues to be operated today by their descendants. As immigrants from Armenia, the original founders understood that a great concept, hard work and smart business decisions were the perfect recipe for success and the American dream.

During the war years, the Caspers Famous Hot Dogs business grew in Oakland with its first stores on Telegraph and First Avenues. In fact, Caspers was probably the first quick serve restaurant chain in the Bay Area. In the 50s and 60s, the company expanded and opened its signature restaurants in Richmond, Hayward, Pleasant Hill, San Pablo and Albany. Later, restaurants were established in Dublin and Walnut Creek. Today, Caspers Famous Hot Dogs boasts nine locations in the East Bay.

In 1989, the owners of Caspers Famous Hot Dogs established SPAR Sausage Company to guarantee that the highest quality product with the freshest ingredients is available to the Caspers Famous Hot Dogs restaurant chain. SPAR wholesales its hot dogs to club and grocery stores throughout the western region of the United States. The SPAR Sausage Company website is located at http://www.sparsausage.com.
